To act as an adviser to the Government of India and serve as a consultant on issues related to geotechnical engineering, concrete, and allied fields for Central and State Government organizations, as well as Public Sector Undertakings. These services may also be extended to private industry, provided they do not interfere with the organization’s primary responsibilities.

To provide consultancy services in the fields of geotechnical engineering and construction materials to other countries.

To undertake geotechnical investigations for international and regional organizations, such as agencies of the United Nations, the Asian Development Bank, and other similar institutions.
